Position Overview: CMM Operator
As a CMM Operator, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our product's dimensional accuracy and quality. Utilizing coordinate measuring machines (CMM), you will perform critical measurements, document findings, and contribute to continuous improvement within the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Dimensional Inspection: Utilize CMM to conduct precise measurements to verify products meet quality standards.
- Defect Tracking: Identify and record any inconsistencies or deviations from specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the quality control team to enhance product quality and uniformity.
- Final Validation: Perform final inspections before the conclusion of production, using Hexagon CMM and other related tools.
Qualification and Skills
- Educational Requirement: High school diploma or GED certificate.
- CMM Expertise: Hands-on experience with CMM, especially Hexagon CMM.
- Measurement Skills: Proficiency in using precise measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO, NADCAP, or AS9100 standards is appreciated.
- Software Proficiency: Knowledge of PC-DMIS.
