 JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary point of contact for all urine drug screens daily (performing lab, lab coverage, lab documentation and reporting). • Record coverage details in Welligent.
  • Assist patients with enrollment and admission forms.
  • Assists with patient check-ins. • Collect fees and copayments from patients or guardians at the time of services as needed.
  • Communicate as needed with other staff regarding patient benefits.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and reception area.
  • Enroll patients in Phoenix House system of care.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and others who call or visit the facility.
  • Schedule initial and recurring client appointments.
  • Master Welligent EMR for scheduling and other administrative tasks as directed.
  • Use good judgment in assisting callers and visitors.
  • Answer and forward incoming calls and documents, via email, clear and complete messages for unavailable staff.
  • Receive mail and deliveries.
  • Generate and analyze reports for operations daily/weekly as required by contracts.
  • Proactively address possible scheduling conflicts pertaining to UA’s.
  • Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Phoenix House's electronic health record system (Welligent) sufficient to fulfill the duties required by this position.

  • Ability to work with a diverse criminal justice population.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal relationship, and time-management skills.
  • Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office with internet capabilities. • Ability to maintain a good working relationship with all coworkers and the public and to use good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
  • Ability to establish appropriate boundaries and un-possessive, professional relationships with all clients in treatment, including former clients served.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Ability to take a teamwork approach to the job by cooperating with others, offering to help others when needed, and considering larger organization or team goals rather than individual concerns. Includes the ability to build a constructive team spirit where team members are committed to the goals and objectives of the team.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment in the completion of job responsibilities.

Required Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

  • Concurrent documentation is expected, and all notes completed same day of service for all clinical support services
  • Will have 100% accuracy on entering information into electronic medical record


Requirements

 REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a substance abuse treatment or mental health setting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/CEUs

  • Valid Florida driver’s license with no more than 4 points required.
