This position is an extra-duty contract for FFA duties, beginning January 30, 2023.   Stipend position in accordance with Collective Bargaining agreement, $4,933-$6,649.

REPORTS TO: Building Administrators 

JOB GOAL:  Share FFA Advisor duties: Coach FFA CDEs, attend FFA meetings and conventions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with students, parents, school personnel, and other professionals.
• Ability to fulfill a year-round contract involving a summer commitment to county and state fairs.
• Ability to support building a high-profile FFA program involving parents, students, and community members.
• Physical demands needed: ability to communicate with students, co-workers, and the public; ability to communicate over the telephone; ability to respond to telephone, bells, students, co-workers, etc.; ability to respond to classroom disturbances, visual cues, student requests, etc.; ability to operate office equipment; ability to carry or lift loads (50 lbs).

PREFERENCES:

• Current Secondary Oregon Teaching License with an Agriculture endorsement or related experience.
• Preference may be given to those who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
