- Designs, installs, configures, monitors, maintains and troubleshoots server hardware, software, web portals, and internet and intranet connections to allow Student and Business Information Systems infrastructure to function, including associated servers, appliances, and storage arrays (e.g., SIS, ERP, Transcripts, Bookstore, Load Balancer, Hyper-V Clusters, Help Desk). Monitors server health and customer utilization, observes trends and adapts hardware to meet customer needs.
- Installs, configures, monitors and manages the health of hardware and software environments for district SQL database systems. Manages inter-system connectivity.
- Create schedules for and perform patch management and upgrades for supported systems.
- Responds to and resolves system outages, performance and/or availability issues. Interfaces with vendor technical support as needed for system support, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Serves as subject matter expert for supported Student and Business Information Systems, provides training, guidance and high-level support to key IT staff.
- Provides guidance, recommendations and expertise for data center servers and configurations.
- Manages end user roles, accounts and security for supported Student and Business Information Systems.
- Collaborates with sites and departments to design and build SharePoint sites and libraries. Manages access, design templates, troubleshoot issues, and provide training and support.
- Collaborates with site administrators to design Photo ID badges for students, staff, and visitors.
- Supports the relationship between the Phoenix Union High School District and the public by demonstrating courteous and professional behavior when interacting with students, parents, visitors, and school staff; maintains absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, client records, and school information; follows Governing Board Policies; performs all other related duties as required or assigned.
