Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including data entry, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial services. This is a full-time position located in Weatherford, TX. Bilingual Spanish speaking required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry of financial transactions into accounting software
- Assist with accounts payable
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Reconcile balance sheets and bank statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an accounting clerk or similar role
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in data entry and 10-key typing skills
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online) is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic math skills
- Bilingual Spanish speaking required.
