Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist Occupational Therapists in providing therapy services to patients across various age groups and healthcare settings.
Duties:
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
- Assist in evaluating patients' functional abilities and limitations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
Requirements:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices.
- Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work in acute care settings.
