Director of Marketing

Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers (PTSMC) seeks a strategic marketer who is a forward-thinking, experienced professional to apply for the position of Director of Marketing.

The Director is responsible for the strategic direction and effectiveness of the company’s broad range of marketing and public relations initiatives in this hands-on, multi-faceted role.

The Director works collaboratively and in strong partnership with their in-house team, other departments, company leadership, multiple stakeholders and vendors to ensure coordinated, timely, and compelling messaging and programs designed to help achieve company growth, engagement and financial goals.

Experience in healthcare marketing, managing needs of multiple locations, creating and using digital tactics and tools, website optimization, lead generation, events and budgeting is desired.

This position has responsibility for the following essential areas:

• Strategic plan for marketing – refine, manage and implement a multi-year goals-based plan for market growth (new and increased patient visits, referrals, market share) and optimal ROI, with an eye on innovation and new opportunities
• Reputation and brand management – protect and advance PTSMC’s strong image and brand, and position the company, its clinics and its people positively and competitively in the marketplace and in the communities PTSMC serves
• Communications and events – develop and deliver messaging and all content (integrated across all channels) to authentically and effectively tell our story in order to engage target audiences
• Leadership – manage, guide, motivate, and develop the marketing team. Be a collaborative and trusted advisor to leadership and the employee population.

Guided by PTSMC’s mission, core values and business plan, the Director will set the priorities and manage the workflow of a marketing team, skillfully knowing when to “do,” when to direct, and when to bring in assistance on a wide range of strategies, projects and requests. It is essential in this role to manage and maximize the company’s investment in marketing resources, skillfully handle competing priorities, measure and demonstrate results; and inspire the department to work collaboratively, strategically and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications (Masters preferred); experience leading and managing others; a background in multi-location healthcare delivery or related industry; thorough understanding of digital marketing, marketing automation, and lead generation; excellent communication and professional writing skills; hands-on skills in websites, social media, and traditional tactics; skilled in MS Office and content management systems; and proficiency in project management, priority setting, and meeting deadlines.
