A. The Psychologist should possess the following skills, qualifications, and abilities essential for managing medical records within the healthcare facility:

  • Proficiency in managing mental health programs, administrative processes, and policy implementation.
  • Profound understanding of mental health assessment techniques and treatment planning methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, strategic, and managerial skills, adept at collaborating with mental health professionals, healthcare staff, and community stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically in mental health advocacy and public relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health regulatory standards and compliance within the field.
  • Strong analytical skills in addressing mental health-related issues, proficient in utilizing mental health technology, electronic health records systems, and telehealth platforms.
  • Capability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment while driving mental health awareness programs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in complex mental health scenarios.
  • Understanding of mental health finance, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Ability to adapt and innovate mental health practices within a dynamic healthcare environment.

B. Responsibilities of the Psychologist should may include, but are not limited to:
1. Providing strategic leadership and oversight for mental health services within the facility.
2. Developing and implementing mental health policies, procedures, and treatment protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
3. Collaborating with mental health professionals and healthcare staff to facilitate the delivery of exceptional mental health services.
4. Overseeing the training and professional development of mental health staff.
5. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in mental health
6. Participating in strategic planning and decision-making to enhance mental health services within the facility.
7. Engaging in mental health awareness initiatives and community outreach programs.
8. Reviewing and approving mental health treatment plans and assessments.
9. Effective management of mental health budgets and resources.
10. Addressing and resolving complex mental health and administrative issues.
11. Representing the facility in mental health matters and participating in advocacy efforts in St. Louis, Missouri.

Qualifications

PCUSA will employ appropriately qualified, licensed, and trained staff to perform the required services of providing medical care to the inmates of the CJC, and any service provider offered by the contractor should meet the following requirements:

Mental Health Professional:
1. PsyD licensure in the State of Missouri required.
2. Strong knowledge of mental health regulations and compliance standards.
3. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in electronic health records, mental health technology, and telehealth platforms.
5. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting mental health awareness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $49.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
