The Lead Medical Technologist performs a variety of clinical tests exercising independent judgment in the specialties or subspecialties for which they are qualified.  Act as The Lead Medical Technologist performs various biochemical, microscopic, blood bank, and/or bacteriological tests to obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Principle Practice Location: 393 Sunrise Highway, West Babylon, New York

Job Description:

A. Provide professional clinical care services for patients in your office during regularly scheduled

office hours and at the Hospital;

B. Provide necessary follow up care for any patients you admit to any hospital or see in consultation

at any hospital;

C. Complete no less than ninety-five percent (95%) of patient charts and medical records within five

(5) days of rendering patient care;

D. Direct and supervise any Advanced Practice Providers involved in the care of your patients;

E. Participate equitably in the provision of on-call services in the Department, which shall be

consistent with the on-call services of the other members of the Department;

F. In the event that you obtain Board Certification in Nuclear Cardiology, then, thereafter, you shall

maintain such Board Certification during the term of your employment;

G. Participate in continuing medical education programs as appropriate; and

H. Provide such other related clinical services as reasonably requested by the CMO or Chairman, and

his/her designees.
