Overview:
Under the direction of a supervisor, the Collector’s primary responsibility is to provide collections that are completed accurately and on time. Employee will maintain a safe and professional environment for clients, and donors, while performing with confidence all aspects of the testing, including specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Observing and collecting urine, hair and oral samples for drug screen testing
- Accurate data entry
- Send out specimens and keep record of tracking information
- Communicate with supervisor and all parties associated with patient status
- Perform other program or project-related and other duties as needed or assigned
- Must be on-time and dependable for their daily shift schedule.
REQUIREMENT(S):
- MUST be comfortable observing and collecting urine specimens
- MUST be drug free (including THC)
- MUST be reliable and dependable
- MUST be able to pass a background check
- MUST have a Valid Driver License
- Have reliable transportation
- Communication is critical

- Able to stay calm under pressure
- Able to follow instructions
- Possess the ability to keep sensitive information confidential/HIPAA
- Able to stand for long periods of time
SHIFT:
- Monday-Friday
- Full-Time 8:30a-5:00p

Qualifications:
Must be able to successfully pass a fingerprint and background check.
Work Experience Requirements:
Prior work history in a medical setting with understanding medical terminology preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Bilingual preferred.
- Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements
- Demonstrates good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; is able to manage concerns of patients and employees in a professional manner.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software.
- Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Access to a cell phone with texting and emailing capabilities.
- Access to computer with scanning, printing and faxing capabilities.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, driving, lifting no more than 10 pounds.
- Ability to concentrate on task at hand
