Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to work in the Emergency Department of Landmark Hospital in Woonsocket, RI.
Experience in an Emergency Department preferred but will consider New Grads as well.
Lamdmark is a 214 bed acute care hospital, and a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) public charity. We provide emergency, diagnostic, medical, surgical, cancer, pain management and obstetric care.
12 hour shifts are being offered
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform physical examinations and obtain medical histories
- Administer injections and medications as necessary
- Manage airways and perform emergency procedures such as intubation
- Conduct and participate in clinical research studies
- Collect and analyze patient data for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Monitor vital signs and provide appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner
