In the inventory aspect, we are looking for a reliable professional with excellent registration skills, who has great attention to detail and a business sense, to monitor and report on the company's inventory. The work is important because the efficient handling of the company's products and supplies is critical to achieving business goals.
We are seeking someone who has the capabilities to supervise warehouse activities on a daily basis, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping and customer service. This individual will be expected to know how to schedule and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency. In addition, they need to have the ability to check equipment, tools, and machines regularly, and supervise general maintenance when necessary.
Job Responsibilities
Plan ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
Check the supply levels of the business and raw materials to identify shortages.
Ensure the product inventory is suitable for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.
Ensure the warehouse is operating at peak efficiency - with customer satisfaction as the primary goal - by overseeing, organizing, monitoring and managing operational goals
Operate the ERP systems (Netsuite) for inventory and warehouse management by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes and shipping methods.
Solve daily operational problems and reach short and long-term performance goals.
Supervise daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
Review and prepare workflows, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality and customer service.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures.
Analyze productivity and develop loss prevention programs.
Supervise and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and the company's facilities, communicating with drivers and air forwarders to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
Job Requirements
Basic computer skills (office, google sheets, Gmail and web applications, ERP)
Ability to complete assigned tasks under time requirements and seasonal picks
Ability to operate repetitive tasks efficiently
Clear reporting skills - written and oral
Capable of working autonomously or with little guidance
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift objects up to 50 pound
Qualifications and Qualifications Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent, required
An associate's degree (or equivalent) in logistics or supply chain management, preferred
Three or more years of experience as an inventory and warehouse worker
Control of warehouse procedures and policies
Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
Ability to work in cooperation with all levels of the company's team
Ability to provide effective feedback, written and verbal
CM control for warehouses
License to operate a forklift
