JOB TITLE: Deputy Program Manager, Aerospace

Founded in 1955, Piasecki Aircraft Corporation (PiAC) is a research and development business specializing in design, fabrication and flight testing of experimental rotorcraft and unmanned air vehicles. Piasecki has developed and flown more than 25 different advanced VTOL and UAV aircraft and continues to develop cutting-edge vertical flight technologies.
SUMMARY:
The Deputy Program Manager’s (DPM) primary responsibility is to facilitate the advancement of PiAC technology for potential inclusion in the US government FVL project and PiAC product lines for PiAC. The Deputy Program Manager will formulate day-to-day advanced research initiatives, conduct and coordination of the technical execution of the project in accordance with relevant SOWs, integrated master schedules (IMS), and development of budgets.
The DPM shall direct the sub-contractors and personnel assigned to the project as well as support talent search efforts to conduct the tasks defined in the program. Review and monitor project progress to ensure quality and adherence to contract requirements. In addition, with support from PiAC’s executive management, the DPM is responsible for the planning, implementation, execution, and completion of the project on schedule and within budget in accordance with contractual obligations.
