Piazza Produce delivers to over 150 surrounding cities including those in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, and Michigan. This allows us a large distribution network in which we are able to back haul and deliver products from producers who need help distributing their products
Piazza Produce is recruiting Sales Associate to come join our family. We are a company that can offer you benefits and longevity with job security. The Inside Sales Representative position is responsible for receiving incoming orders for customers, answering inquiries and questions, handling troubleshoot issues, conducting follow-up customer calls, completing call logs, presenting new or additional featured products to customers by recognizing opportunities to up-sell accounts. The Inside Sales Representative position must align with the core values of both FreshEdge and Piazza Produce – customer-obsessed, passionate, relational, innovative, real, and ethical.
Duties:
- Answer calls professionally
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Research required information using available resources
- Handle and resolve customer issues
- Provide customers with product and service information
- Complete call logs
- Sell additional products
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred - At least 3 years successful related sales experience with an understanding and knowledge of produce food service-related products
- Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office and common E-Mail systems
