The Pickaway Metropolitan Housing Authority Board of Commissioners is announcing the upcoming opening of the position of Executive Director of the agency.
Job Details:
- Administrator of all agency functions and reports directly to the Board of Commissioners
- Administrator of all programs in accordance with regulations set forth by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and the US Department of Agriculture, Division of Rural Development, and the applicable requirements of grants or programs utilized by the agency
- Full-time position with flexibility in schedule
- Requires some travel in relation to training, conferences and meetings
- Supervises a staff of 16 full time staff members
Job Responsibility:
- Planning, assignment and review of all operations and functions connected with the management and operations of the Authority
- Oversight of staff involved in program administration and maintenance, including 661 Housing Choice Vouchers, 124 Public Housing and Rural Development scattered-site rental units, 141 Multi-Family rental units in 3 property locations, and a growing number of agency-owned housing
- Oversight of planning and development activities, grant implementation and administration, and all ancillary functions of the agency
- Budgeting and financial compliance oversight, including completion and submission of annual financial reports in cooperation with the agency Finance Manager
- Submission of required reports and data as required by program regulation
- Advises the Board of Commissioners and prepares all documents for monthly meetings; prepares board minutes as the Secretary to the Board, and implements all Board decisions
- Oversees procurement of goods and services for the agency in accordance with established policy
- Represents or assigns representation of the agency to various boards in the community
Requirements:
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration or a comparable field, and/or extensive experience in the field of property management
- Financial Management experience
- Minimum of five years of employee supervision experience
- Strong leadership capabilities
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary will be commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate, within the established pay band of $70,000 - $100,000 annually
- Pay is bi-weekly by direct deposit
