Pickle is a rental marketplace that aims to monetize the billions of underutilized assets sitting in consumers closets and brands inventory. Users can easily tap into shared closets within their community through flexible and/or on-demand delivery options. Our goal is to provide affordable and convenient access to quality items exactly when our users need them. We are starting with P2P clothing/accessories and expanding to other categories.

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Product Manager to join our team and drive the development and enhancement of our peer-to-peer rental marketplace platform. The Product Manager will play a critical role in shaping the user experience, driving product strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the success and growth of our platform.

  • 4 years in product management, preferably in an e-commerce, marketplace, or tech startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and agile product development methodologies.
  • Strong writing and mind-mapping skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and ideas to cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in using data-driven insights to inform product decisions.
  • Proficiency in product management tools, wireframing and prototyping software, and data analytics platforms.
  • Experience with user research techniques, such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the fashion industry and rental marketplaces is a plus.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, for new features, enhancements, and improvements to the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including designers, engineers, marketers, and customer support, to define and prioritize product requirements and deliverables.
  • Conduct user research, analyze market trends, and gather feedback to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business goals and user expectations.
  • Create detailed product specifications, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate and validate design concepts and functionalities.
  • Work with the engineering team to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of product features, addressing any roadblocks or issues that may arise.
  • Conduct A/B tests, user testing, and gather data to measure and iterate on product performance and user satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as user engagement, conversion rates, and retention, and use insights to inform product decisions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  • Act as a champion for the user, advocating for their needs and representing their perspective throughout the product development process.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop go-to-market strategies, product launch plans, and promotional materials.
