We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to oversee operations and Team Members during scheduled shifts. The AGM responsibilities include managing cash, resolving conflicts and checking equipment. Ultimately, they will ensure all aspects of their shift run smoothly and effectively. Responsibilities
- Available days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Meets job expectations to positively impact restaurant sales & performance.
- Supports goals, decisions & direction of the Restaurant Management Team
- Follows company guidelines for food and cash controls.
- Ensure proper use all products, supplies, equipment and facilities.
- Provide direction and feedback to Team Members during shifts.
- Schedule employee breaks and assign duties.
- Manage time-off requests and handle last-minute absences.
- Train and coach new Team Members
- Check cash drawers and prepare bank deposits.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed.
- Address customer and employee complaints
- Foster and maintain a positive work environment.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or relevant supervisor role
- Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations
- Commitment to excellent service
- Working well within a team
- Leadership skills and ability to make good decisions quickly.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- High school diploma is preferred.
