Accounts Payable
We are looking for a friendly detail-oriented person to join our small office located inside of Pier 33 on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. We are a seafood wholesaler that works with many of the high-end restaurants and Technology companies throughout the Bay Area. Our office is located within our warehouse so candidates must be okay with a little bit of noise, smell of fresh fish, and a warehouse environment.
Strong organizational skills, ability to follow instructions and communicate with coworkers and vendors are essential.
The position:
· Compare all seafood purchase orders, prices, weights, and invoices daily
· Deal with any price or weight discrepancies same day if possible
· Process payments and maintain precise records of all payments
o Pay Vendor invoices weekly & fisherman payments as received
· Manage other bills such as utilities, outside services, auto renewals, etc.
· Correspond with vendors regarding billing and payments
· Reconcile monthly credit card bill
· General office duties when time permits
- Good working knowledge of excel and/or google sheets a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
