We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Director of Security to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team!
The Director of Security is responsible for managing and supervising the day-to-day Security team, to ensure the safety and security of all guests, residents, hotel staff, and property.
Core responsibilities include:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Director of Security.
• Residential/Hotel experience preferred.
• Experience with pre-opening preferred.
• Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
EDUCATION: • Security Guard license required. • Degree in Hospitality preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, associates, and external partners. · Ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations.
