Position summary:
Superintendent, Jumping Pieridae Energy is looking to fill the position of Field Foreman at its Jumping Pound complex, located
Pound 30 minutes West of Calgary. This role will report directly to the Production Superintendent on site.

• Provide input in working with our scheduling and planning department as well as working

with other trades within the facility to build effective corrective actions.

• Provide consistent, visible leadership ensuring corporate policies, standards and procedures

and guidelines are followed.

• Manage employee performance and provide guidance for employee development.

• Commitment to the health and safety of others and the surrounding community.

• Act as a liaison to management and other stakeholders ie. regulators, external stakeholders,

Joint Venture groups.

• Ensure operations personnel are competent to function in their assigned roles.

• Communicate safety expectations and monitor compliance to corporate proactive safety

measures.

• Responsible for maintaining collaborative and effective employee relations, handling daily

personnel issues as required. Including: Vacation, Flex Time, Sick leave etc.

• Ensure safety, production and cost targets are understood, communicated and achieved.

• Support the integrated maintenance schedule by working collaboratively with other

leadership team members and central support personnel.

• Lead opportunities in the reduction of waste and continuous improvement.

• Ensure operational issues are accounted for in Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting.

Education, experience and skills:

• Ten-plus years’ experience in sour gas gathering systems required.

• Power Engineering, GPO or similar technical diploma would be an asset.

• Previous direct report leadership experience is required. Experience in a union setting is

preferred.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Knowledge of appropriate regulations and operating approval requirements to maintain

license to operate.
