Must Haves:
- NM license to practice as a Sonnographer
- ARDMS (RVT), ARRT (VS), or CCI (RVS) registered
- Must have BLS upon hire
Job Description:
BONUS - $20,000 Sign On & $1,000 a month housing allowance for 12 months upon relocation

- Position reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Selects transducer, and makes equipment adjustments according to nature of test, depth of field, and other specifications of test. Checks the physicians requisition for complete information on the procedure requested; refers any questions to the ultrasound physician before performing the procedure. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Recognizes the significance of all structures that are visualized on the monitor and be able to differential artifacts from anatomic/pathologic structures within equipment limitations.
- Must be graduate of an approved program of Ultrasound/Sonography, or equivalent
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able tro work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Must have current BLS upon hire.
- ARDMS (RVT), ARRT (VS) or CCI (RVS) registered
- NM license to practice as a Sonographer.
