Inventory Warehouse Review Manager

Position Summary: The Inventory Warehouse Review Manager is responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory. In this role, the Inventory Warehouse Review Manager teaches, trains, and follows-up with materials control associates and leadership, and works with building leadership to ensure inventory accuracy expectations are being met and sustained. In addition, he/she investigates variances and communicates daily updates/research to allow the management team to approve and/or decline adjustments; makes inventory adjustment recommendations, as needed; and performs physical inventory counts, and reconciles actual count to computer-generated reports.

This role collaborates with numerous departments and locations within the company to problem solve, investigate materials status and reconciliation, and provide insight to leadership to improve processes.

Essential Functions:

• Provide actionable feedback to leadership and warehouse staff, as needed
• Coach, guide, and train staff on performing related work, as appropriate to the area of operation
• Partner with PMs, engineers, field crews and supply chain to ensure all communication regarding inventory is accurate and timely.
• Provide updates, as needed, to operations and project management and direct supervisor regarding inventory and system findings.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Inventory management in Transmission and Substation experience 3 years
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and various inventory management platforms and methods
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
• Must be able to constantly work in an office or non-climate-controlled environment
• Ability to occasionally move/position product weighing up to 150 lbs. without assistance and up to 250 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly or other equipment
• Ability to frequently travel to project sites based on business needs

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position may be performed in outside weather conditions.
