Senior Lending Officer
We are seeking a dynamic, visionary Senior Lending Officer who brings Southern Colorado work/life experience and a proven skill set in business development that will help us grow our loan portfolio. We require someone who can actively identify and implement innovations that will advance the Bank’s competitive stance. We expect this individual to lead and develop the bank sales team, as well as build relationships with existing and prospective commercial borrowers.
The ideal candidate will have an assured, outwardly focused personality, at ease with making strong, effective connections with power players through community and social events. This person will have a keen eye for local areas of growth and will know who and how to approach potential opportunities for the bank.
Core Responsibilities
The Senior Lending Officer reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is the chief business development officer for the Bank, supervising commercial lending officers at all branch locations. This position is a decision-maker and point of contact for the Bank’s commercial borrowers. The successful applicant will have the capacity to develop and support the Bank’s loan growth goals, customer retention targets, and profitability models. This individual will provide leadership and professional development to the sales team; represent the Bank in the community for business development purposes; and support the values of the Bank by providing outstanding service to both internal and external customers.

Qualifications
Proven experience in leading teams, managing client portfolios, and navigating complex loan structures is crucial. Preference is given to commercial lending experience in the Colorado Springs or adjacent markets.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
