Minimum starting wage of $18-$20 per hour DOE

Shift: 5a-1p, scheduled days TBD *some weekend availabilty required

How You'll Shine:

As a Facilities Assistant, you'll make everyone’s day by providing quality solutions and results for our managers, employees, and customers through using your maintenance skills and customer service expertise, and guaranteeing each piece of equipment, building, and grounds are maintained in working order and repaired in a timely manner.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Perform general facility maintenance under supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production. 
• Perform service requests and repairs, as directed (painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry).
• Perform maintenance work as directed.
• Apply basic knowledge of general repair work and replacement of general fixtures, including but not limited to: doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceiling, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.
• Clean and maintain outside landscape, including but not limited to emptying trash, trash pick-up, snow shoveling, leaf blowing, and general landscape work.
• Clean and inspect in-building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Adhere to the company's safety programs.

 Essential Job Requirements:

• A professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with team focus.
• Ability to work independently or with others as needed.
• Basic handyman and power tool skills.
• Able to safely and repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to demonstrate safe lifting techniques, reliably operate and maintain machinery and tools, carefully handle caustic chemicals, and confidently deal with heights.
• Comfortable with and able to stand or walk for long periods of time. Able to perform demanding physical tasks, with reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work indoors, outside, and in a variety of temperature zones and weather. Able to work early or odd hours.
• Vision corrected to 20/20.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Operate the following equipment: industrial floor cleaning machine, hand tools (hammer, drill, etc.), brooms, mops, landscaping equipment.
