Job Description
The purpose of this job is to provide support for distribution operations as well as initiating continuous improvement within the merchandising department.
- Support the Distribution team with project reports and initiatives
- Support the Merchandising & Deli teams with product rollouts and initiatives
- Work with distributor to execute product flow in support of merchandising and deli initiatives; implement solutions and action plans to achieve optimum results
- Utilize data and reporting systems to research, identify and create action plans for supply chain solutions
- Support distribution team to obtain favorable solutions to contractual obligations
- Provide telephone and email support to troubleshoot store level questions and issues related to the distributor
- Model behaviors that support the our purpose driven strategy, showing people they matter at every turn
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required
- Associate or bachelor's degree with a concentration in retail, or business preferred
- Minimum one year retail store, merchandising or restaurant experience preferred
Specialized Knowledge
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
