Job Description
Pay Rate : $20 / hour
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Customer Service Representative's primary focus is to assist customers and sales staff place fuel and oil orders, working with dispatch and with the credit department as necessary to coordinate delivery.
Additional tasks include order entry, fielding customer questions on product information, account and order status, researching delivery delays and managing back-orders due to inventory shortages.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Answer calls, emails and faxes from customers and / or sales staff placing orders.
- Work with operations to ensure deliveries meet customer needs & time-lines.
- Answer basic customer questions regarding products, including pack sizes, availability & pricing.
- Input orders into billing system & dispatch module.
- Assist customers & salespeople with information requests including sales orders, invoices, product data sheets and safety data sheets.
- Assist salespeople managing high profile / high volume accounts.
- Provide instruction to salespeople on basic DM2 navigation.
- Train new customer service representatives
- Research sales order delivery delays.
- Manage back-orders due to inventory shortages.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-4 years customer service experience
- Knowledge & experience working in relevant computer applications Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Skybitz, DM2
- Ability to type 40 wpm
