Position Title: Fiscal Analyst
Department: Maintenance & Security Business Services
Rate of Pay: Exempt - C42 - $54,001/year
Closed Date: Open Until Filled, 1st review July 5, 2022, 5:00 PM Arizona Time
Position Summary:
This position monitors, analyzes and reconciles internal and external information from multiple sources, determining impact on departmental and college-wide operations and reports. Prepares complex financial reports, processes complex journal entries, audits capital valuations, and performs Davis-Bacon compliance reviews.
Additionally, this position is also responsible for working on procedural flow between facilities locations, documenting and improving processes and systems, and internal controls reviews and recommendations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing complex reports for Facilities projects and deferred maintenance projects;
- Mapping repetitive processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and reduce duplication of effort. Monitor and adjust processes as needed to accommodate changes in ERP systems;
- Providing information for data-driven decision-making with the creation of reports and also manipulating data using advanced spreadsheet formulas;
- Preparing and executing complex journal entries such as chargebacks and encumbrance adjustments;
- Assisting with the planning, scheduling, development and presentation of training programs;
- Assist with inventory and information updates.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration and
- One year professional level experience in systems analysis work
or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job duties previously listed
