Qualified candidates must:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of pool chemistry and equipment
• Speak to prior experiences maintaining pools/spas
• Be driven, self-motivated, hardworking, and business-orientated
• Previous sales experience is required
• Provide top quality-customer service to customers
• Have the ability to handle physical workload (lift items up to 50 pounds without restrictions, climb ladders)
• Technical proficiency is a must

Responsibilities include:

• Successfully passing online training on all pool-related topics, including pool care basics, water chemistry and equipment.
• Interacting professionally and patiently while helping customers with purchases
• Answering phones and perform functions on a computer when interacting with customers and or the corporate office.
• Ensuring the store is clean at all times; straighten shelves, dust shelves, keep furniture, displays and counter area clean. At the end of shifts vacuum/mop floors daily, dump trash. Stock products and report supply shortages.
• After training, understanding water chemistry and how to effectively solve water balance issues when water testing for customers.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 18, and have a high school graduate or general education degree (GED). Candidates must have a willingness to learn the technical aspects of the job, and be able to retain an understanding of pool chemistry and equipment in order to best serve each customer. Excellent customer service skills and previous sales experience are required. Must be able and eager to contribute to a high-performing, family-oriented team!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Must be 18 years old. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. The position requires constant walking, bending and lifting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
