Job Summary:
Second shift position (M-F 2p-10p)
Part of the site maintenance team, works to ensure all pharmaceutical production equipment is operational and working at top efficiency. Provides support for all engineering and maintenance activities including but not limited to new equipment/system installation, troubleshooting down equipment making modifications and improvements as necessary.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
-Responsible for maintaining all site production equipment and utilities
-Responsible for site PMs including those requiring entrance into ISO 7 Cleanroom production space on a regular basis
-Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and pneumatic systems
-Assist in any facility modifications/improvements as well as general upkeep to the physical site
-Familiarity with automated production equipment
-Maintains spare parts inventories as needed
-Orders spare parts as needed
Other Responsibilities & Duties:
-Performs additional duties as deemed appropriate by management
-Ensures all work performed is compliant with all federal, state, regulatory bodies (FDA, DEA, BOP, DEC, OSHA) and local municipalities.
-Meets site goals and objectives as part of a team
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities Required:
-Minimum of a high school education or GED
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
-Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
-Experience in a pharmaceutical production plant preferred
-Experience in plant utility systems (including HVAC and compressed air systems)
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Possesses good written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to read schematics and drawings
Experience Required:
-3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience required
Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
-Prolonged periods standing/kneeling/laying on production floor working on equipment
