What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist position at Pine Rest - Campus Clinic?
As one of the largest free-standing behavioral health providers in the country, Pine Rest has provided psychiatric services to children and adolescents for over 100 years.
Our child and adolescent programs include:
- A dedicated inpatient unit with 36 beds
- A brand new 26-bed adolescent and young adult flex unit
- A partial hospitalization program for children and adolescents
- Residential treatment
- School consultation
- Forensic evaluations
- Neuropsychological testing
- Autism Diagnostic Center
- Outpatient clinics including pharmacotherapy, individual psychotherapy and group therapy
What will you do?
At Pine Rest you’ll have ample opportunities to focus in on your specific interests from level of care, age of patients and specific programs. Or mix it up … provide treatment in person or through telepsychiatry, take on a leadership role, teach in our psychiatry residency and fellowship programs, participate in research with respected organizations, start up and shepherd new programming or get involved with a community health provider or non-profit.

What Does This Role Require?
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Current Michigan State license as physician and surgeon.
- May require National Certification in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or board eligible within 5 years.
- Completion of an accredited four-year psychiatric residency program.
