What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Pines Manor?
Objective: Many guests make their decision to visit our catering facility because of the friendliness and quality of service that we make available to them. This position is responsible for setting the tone within each event. The server can make the difference by the way that he or she does their job whether the customer will return to visit us another time. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we'd like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. Reports to: Captain or Maitre D'
Essential Job Functions:
Set silverware, glassware, linen and china on tables according to instructions.
Set cocktail hour with chafing dishes as detailed on BEO including cocktail forks, cocktail napkins, glass plates, and decorations..
Take orders, serve meals, beverages and remove dirty plates, glassware and utensils.
Performs closing activities
Greet and bid farewell to our guests.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
