Supervise Behavioral Health Associates
Serves as a role model for residents, peers and subordinates.
Provides education to Behavioral Health Associates
Provides a safe, therapeutic environment that protects resident’s rights.
Develops a therapeutic relationship with residents.
Sets limits on resident’s behavior.
Encourages independent behavior.
Ensures that residents are oriented to the Center and the unit.
Observes resident behavior for changes in order to intervene appropriately, guide nonprofessional nursing staff, communicate changes to appropriate staff, and record changes.
Intervenes in crisis situations as per our policy.
Collaborates with members of other disciplines in a professional manner.
Participates in staff development .
Adheres to applicable Human Resource Policies and Procedures, as well as applicable laws, standards, and regulations related to staff supervision and management.
Facilitates unit staff meetings, ensures inter-shift communication.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
