Senior Graphics Designer

PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is seeking a Senior Graphics Designer that uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media. Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

YOU WILL:

• Create design concepts that advance the brand and meet business objectives.
• Manage multiple projects from concept stage through completion.
• Confer with internal clients to discuss concepts and create rough sketches material, discussing them with clients and/or supervisors and making necessary changes.
• Conceptualize and develop digital marketing projects, as well as print projects.
• Photography of product images for use across marketing channels including social and PING.com
• Perform image editing, retouching and color correction
• Collaborate with digital team, marketing teams to ensure brand objectives are being met.
• Create engaging still and animated graphics for videos used on social media and PING.com.
• Be able to organize and maintain design files.
• Be responsible for remaining current within area of expertise, relative to design trends and also in relation to technological advances.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or related discipline, plus a minimum 8 years’ direct graphic design experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, interpersonal and team skills.
• Strong creative thinking, organization and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions & constraints.
• The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and keep up with the administrative requirements of the position.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Intermediate knowledge of photography, including digital camera use, lighting concepts and Adobe Photoshop retouching and image editing.
• Ability to work in an Apple (Mac) computer environment. 
• Basic knowledge of HTML5 & CSS
• Initiative and project ownership. Can follow directives from leadership, but is responsible for achieving tasks and goals independently.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
• Understanding of the print production process and specifications.
• Excellent technical knowledge of Company and products.
