Required Experience: Master’s degree and ten (10) years of related IT experience. Bachelor’s degree and 15 years’ experience can be substituted for the Master’s degree and 10 years of experience.
Position Description
Exeter is recruiting qualified individuals to serve as the local System Administrator responsible for overseeing Intelligence operations ACC A2 directorate supporting the SCIFs on Davis Monthan AFB, Tucson AZ. Candidates will be responsible for all Unit-wide Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) and perform JWICS specific touch maintenance to install and maintain computers, servers, and all related software and hardware. (This also includes but is not limited to account management, network storage, local authentication servers, file servers, user privileges, local group policy, local software testing, restoration operations, contingency planning, and local backups.)
Responsibilities
· Ensure security patching is completed and locally downloaded, and also push JAVA, NOTAMS, and TCNO patches the AF Enterprise is unable to perform remotely
· Work directly with users at Davis Monthan AFB and liaise daily with the ESD and ESC AF to help resolve user and network related issues as well as maintain the integrity of the network domain
· Mid-level experience in a full range of IT security principles, including:
o Concepts, practices, products and services (including system software, database software and immediate access storage technology)
o Disseminating IT security tools and procedures
o IT security certification and accreditation requirements
o Familiarity with and use of Active Directory tools to manage accounts
o Familiarity with imaging computers and upgrading operating systems
o Familiarity with using scanning tools to scan and subsequently patch devices
o Familiarity with trouble ticketing tools such as Remedy
o Able to remotely log in to computers as needed for maintenance
o Able to add and remove computers to domains
o Able to assign and remove security controls to user accounts
o Able to perform all Security Plus (Security ) type functions
o Able to work independently and/or with a team
Familiarity with and be able to modify file servers and shared permissions
Required Qualifications
· Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required
· DoD 8570.01-M, IAT Level II certified
· Master’s degree from an accredited institution
· Ten (10) years of experience
· Excellent communications skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
