PURPOSE:
As an HR Generalist with a specialization in payroll, your role will be integral to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization. Your primary purpose will encompass a range of HR and payroll-related responsibilities. This is a collaborative role that will work cross-functionally with various departments as we expand our capabilities in general accounting, compliance, and analysis. Responsibilities:
Manage the HRIS System Managing and documenting all personnel changes in system.

Payroll:
· Process (non-exempt and exempt) payroll for employees accurately and on time.
· Ensure compliance with federal, multi-state (CA, FL, NY, DC & MA), and local payroll regulations.
· Stays abreast with laws regarding changes in pay, taxes, etc.
· Calculate and process payroll deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and garnishment.
· Responsible for year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing.
· Generate reports and analyze data to inform data-driven decisions.
· Compliant with OT, Tip Credit & Spread of Hours calculations.
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
· Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
· Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
· Suggest and implement changes to company policies in keeping with our people-first mentality.
· Collaborate and complete HR projects as needed.
· Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
