Summary: Offers administrative support services to the Medical Director. Is responsible for managing the schedule and communication of the medical director. Duties include, but are not limited to, prioritizing emails and phone calls, gathering documents to prepare for meetings and coordinating travel arrangements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the Medical Director’s behalf.
  • Maintains comprehensive and accurate records.
  • Organizes meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary.
  • Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
  • Manages the Medical Director’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters.
  • Produce timely and accurate information reports as requested.
  • Creates spreadsheets and presentations at the request of the Medical Director.
  • Willing to travel between Pinnacle locations, if needed.
Education/Experience:
  • High School graduate. Some college preferred.
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Clinical trial research is preferred
Certificates and Licenses:
  • Valid driver's license and insurance

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Foxfire, and web-based enterprise solutions software.

  • Work is performed in an office or a clinical environment.
  • Weekend or after hour work may be required.
  • Occasional travel may be required domestic and/or international.
  • Ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6-10 hours per day.
  • Frequent mobility required.
  • Occasional squatting, kneeling, or bending.
  • Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including medical equipment with a maximum lift of 20-50 lbs.
