Summary: This individual will be responsible for completing FibroScan exams for Pinnacle and assisting in marketing efforts by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Willing to be trained and certified to perform Fibroscans on patients as needed.
- Performs Fibroscans and Fibroscan assessments on patients as appropriate at on-site and off-site locations.
- Works with referring physicians, referring practices and community partners as needed.
- Updates, sends, and edits database records as needed.
- Serves as liaison between Pinnacle and referring clinics on FibroScan reports and availability for scan days.
- Establishes and maintains hard copies of database records.
- Maintains subject and study confidentiality.
- Works with clinic staff, research personnel, and marketing department on Fibroscan Department needs.
- Serves as back-up for marketing scheduler, and marketing liaisons.
- Performs other duties, as necessary.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Medical terminology knowledge/experience a plus.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid driver's license
- Personal auto insurance
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

- Work is performed in an office/laboratory and/or a clinical environment.
- Exposure to biological fluids and/or bloodborne pathogens.
- Personal protective equipment is required such as protective eyewear, garments, and gloves.
- Ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6-10 hours per day.
- Position is 100% mobile conducting Fibroscan’s off site, but locally.
- Occasional squatting, kneeling, or bending.
- Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including medical equipment with a maximum lift of 20-50 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Heavy travel within San Antonio and surrounding areas required.
- Occasional travel within Central Texas locations required.
