The Patient Services Receptionist is an ideal opportunity for those seeking to be an integral part of a fertility patient’s journey towards becoming a parent. The Patient Services Receptionist position at Pinnacle will allow you to engage with the patient throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.

We are seeking a Patient Services Receptionist to join our dedicated team at Seattle Reproductive Medicine. This is a full-time position, working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 5:00am-2:00pm. Then work in our Seattle Front Desk on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am-3:30pm.


RESPONSIBILITES

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive first impression.
  • Schedule appointments, manage patient check-ins and check-outs, and maintain accurate appointment calendars.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from patients, providing accurate information and excellent customer service.
  • Maintain patient records, update patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) system, and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and collect and process payments for services rendered.
  • Ensure rooms are cleaned for the next patient.
  • Room male patients to conduct semen analysis.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Manage patient paperwork, including consent forms, medical history forms, and other necessary documents.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and front desk.
  • Provide support in handling emergencies and urgent situations, following clinic protocols.
  • Keep abreast of clinic policies, procedures, and guidelines, and participate in training and professional development opportunities.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical office administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, fertility clinic operations, and EHR systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with diverse populations in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using computer software, including MS Office and EHR systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$21.00 - $32.00 hourly

The compensation range for this position is between $21.00 and $32.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, life, and vision insurance.
