Executive Director, AWS Solutions

Job Description Working as a Senior Engineering and Architecture Leader in the Global Banking Platform team, you will have the opportunity to influence and build large scale, highly impactful solutions using latest technologies that is unparalleled in the Banking industry. You will collaborate with Executives, Product Owners, Engineers, and SREs in developing and owning the Technology Strategy, and drive solution architecture for multi-phase modernization initiatives. In addition to being strongly technical, the ability to collaborate, influence, and build consensus across diverse teams is important for this role. You will be self driven and demonstrate leadership, execution, and the ability to identify issues and opportunities in a dynamic environment.
This role will develop, maintain, and socialize the technology strategy, target state and architecture for the product roadmap. Partnering with product teams and others, this architect leader will create enduring business and customer value solutions in a modern, secure, and resilient way aligning to enterprise architectural patterns and industry best practices. To accomplish this, the candidate should have demonstrated knowledge in the following areas:

• Application, Data, and Infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Experience in running production applications in AWS Public Cloud
• Deep knowledge in any of the AWS Solutions: Compute, Networking, Databases, Security etc.
• Secure Applications development and Controls Compliance
• Development of Highly Available, Resilient and Scalable solutions
• Microservices, Interfaces, Events and APIs based architecture solutions
• Expertise in DevSecOps practices using modern CI and CD tools

This role requires a wide variety of experience, strengths, and capabilities, including:

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience as an engineering or architect leader responsible for building large scale solutions and overseeing delivery in production
• Strong leadership, partnership, and execution skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in production operations and servicing areas
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming languages (Java, Python, Nodejs etc.)

Pay Range: $200,000- $300,000 (estimated base salary)
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, trainchasding, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision as well as 401K contributions.
