Junior Project Manager
Arlington Hights, IL
6 Months Contract


Accountabilities:
Tracking and Reporting - Collect data and status updates for the full life cycle of all Airshop's efforts. Compile and distribute reports with this information.
Support Airshop initiatives/reservations ensuring Airshop and its partners are prepared for events
Idea Intake support - Backend support for implementing our scoring models and accepting submissions from teams
Support Airshop team's administrative tasks and ad hoc requests for Airshop pop up events
Research internal and external partners to coordinate introductory calls
Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience Level:
2 years of Project/ Program support experience
Knowledge/ Skills Required:
Ability to track and ensure accuracy of detailed status updates and reporting.

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Professional Suite, especially Planner and PowerPoint.
Experience with project management products.
Organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Detail orientated
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:
Strong research and documentation capabilities
Experience with technology development, testing, and/or implementation
PMP/Project Management Certification
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Professional Suite, especially Planner and PowerPoint.

Local to Fort Worth Texas (Hybrid)

30 %Frontend/UI - Angular (latest version would be nice to have or someone who has worked closed to a latest version of Angular))
Person will be working with the architect and other member with the team on the project
Kubernetes, docker, CDN

Needs to have DevOps toolchain experience
Min 6 yrs of experience in SDLC, preferred would be 10 yrs.
Airline Industry experience: nice to have not mandatory

What you'll do
  • Collaborates with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements
  • Maintains and enhances existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development
  • Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions
  • Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance
  • Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines
  • Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • Minimum 6 years, preferred 10 years, of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments
  • Minimum 6 years, preferred 10 years, of professional, design, and open-source experience.

Pay Range: $30-35/hr
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision as well as 401K contributions.
