OBJECTIVE
The HRIS & Benefits Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms, including ADP Workforce Now and Workday. This role involves overseeing the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate data entry, troubleshooting system issues, and providing excellent customer service to both employees and management. The HRIS & Benefits Specialist will collaborate with various departments to streamline processes, maintain data integrity, and support the overall HR operations of the company.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administer and manage the HRIS systems, primarily ADP Workforce Now and Workday, including data entry, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with the HR team and cross-functional departments to ensure accurate and timely data integration across systems.
• Process employee data changes, new hires, terminations, and other related HR transactions in the HRIS platforms.
• Coordinate the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave management, and other offerings.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS systems and benefits records.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of HRIS training materials and provide training to employees and managers as needed.
• Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, HRIS systems, and data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with external vendors and benefit providers to resolve issues and ensure smooth benefits administration.
• Generate and analyze reports from the HRIS systems to support HR metrics, compliance, and decision-making processes.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to HRIS and benefits administration.
• Assist in the implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and sensitive company data.
EXPERIENCE
• ADP Workforce Now experience is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in HRIS management and benefits administration, preferably using ADP Workforce Now and Workday.
• Strong technical proficiency in HRIS systems, with the ability to navigate and troubleshoot system issues effectively.
• Solid understanding of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful reports.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to employees and management.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
