Pinnacle Talent Solutions has an accounting opportunity that concentrates in the area of AP/AR, for a Syracuse based supplier for both residential and commercial builders and contractors. Our well established client continues to grow, and needs accounting staff who can keep pace! Looking for candidates who can hit the ground running. Full time, Monday through Friday with full benefits!
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting and related financial activities to ensure sound fiscal administration
- Create and send daily invoices
- Handle customer inquiries and assist customer service with accounting questions
- Contact slow-paying customers for payment via phone, letter, and/or email
- Review accounts receivable daily and weekly reports including applying payment, resolution of problems discovered on report, etc.
- Frequently work across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
- Invoice large corporate accounts daily, weekly, and/or monthly
- Maintain central filing system of financial records
- Monitor purchase activities and report extraordinary expenditures to manager
- Provide administrative assistance
- Perform other accounting functions as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting role
- Minimum Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Exceptional communication skills including written, verbal, and numerical
- Computer literacy and strong experience in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word
- Consistently execute work with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
