Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Inventory Coordinator shall assist the Materials Manager by analyzing data to produce production schedules and communicate with Sales, Supply Chain and Production while ensuring production completion to shipping. In addition, the Inventory Coordinator will assist the Materials Manager, Production Supervisor(s), and Production Manager with organizing and distributing production related material. This position will also oversee MRO procurement to enable uninterrupted production operations. Also, this position will have oversight on inventory including inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and root cause analysis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Assist Materials Manager to develop and distribute production schedules across all shifts
· Maintain accurate overall employee capacity
· Assist in identifying and tracking the stages of completion for production work on the plant floor
· Ensure planned kits are prepared, issued, and released for the plant floor
· Assist the Materials Manager with supporting the PTG production system by updating work orders and collaborating with the Material Planner
· Manage inventory levels and prepare purchase orders for MRO and shipping related supplies.
· Prepare the shop travelers for the plant floor
· Report production as complete in SAP
· Support direct materials purchasing as required
· Correct any inventory discrepancies
· Participate in Lean/5S and continuous improvement activities

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Associated degree in business or related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred however it may be supplanted with relevant 3-5 years in electronics buying or electronics technical related field.
Progression and attainment towards APICS CPIM designation is encouraged.
Pay commensurate with experience.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
