Interior Decorator / Designer

Pinnell’s Carpet one is seeking a full-time Interior Decorator / Designer to join our professional sales team.

Love to decorate? Follow your passion for design and decorating by helping clients decided on the right style and colors for their flooring and remodeling projects. While creating new friendships with clients.

Qualified applicants must be customer service oriented, with a can-do attitude while exhibiting professionalism with integrity and honesty. You will also need to be a hard worker, be able to work with a team, and continually strive for perfection.

Responsibilities:

· Greeting customers on the sales floor and determining their wants and needs.

· Working with customers to determine a look and color scheme that works for them.

· Selling flooring, window coverings, and floor care products.

· Keeping up to date on the wide selection of floors and window coverings we have to offer along with the benefits and warranties provided by each.

· Providing outstanding customer service.

· Writing sales orders.

· Helping work through and following up after completion of a job.

· Building client relationships.

· Receiving payment or obtain credit authorization.

· Following up in a timely and professional manner with customers on all requests or concerns.

· Answering questions from and providing information to customers about flooring.

· Assisting customers with flooring choices - explaining features and benefits of various types of flooring.

The skills and abilities we are seeking include:

· Experience with, decorating or design.

· Must be willing and able to attend some off-site training.

· Must have access to reliable transportation to get to work, and to visit customer's homes.

· Must have open and flexible work availability.

· Must be willing to learn our computer operating system.

· Retail Sales experience is a plus, but not required.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality.

· Self-motivated.

· Time management skills.

Pay: $3,700.00 - $5,000.00 per month

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Interior Design / Decorator: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Angels Camp, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
