Sales and Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, creative team player to assist in the development of sales and marketing materials, planning of community events, and other sales and campaign creatives for the Company. You are the right person for this position if you are a self-starter who enjoys bringing a company’s products and services to life through marketing!

The Sales and Marketing Assistant works on-site at our main office located in Philomath. This position also works a handful of weekends during the year (typically a Saturday) to set up and participate in events to promote Pioneer’s services and involvement in the communities we support.

Main responsibilities:

• Coordinates quality brand projects across multiple channels, including ads, sponsorships, campaigns and brand marketing materials.
• Assists in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, social media management, and website content.
• Maintains and updates company website and internal SharePoint.
• Prepares documentation for new products and services.
• Proofs marketing materials, makes recommendations for campaigns, and assists in preparing documentation for key customer programs.
• Responsible for managing and completing in-house mailings and printing.
• Assists in the development and distribution of training, marketing and sales materials.
• Provides support to the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience departments.
• Performs research on competitors, market trends, and programs.

Skills that will be used:

• Mac OS experience.
• Familiarity with graphic design, creating materials utilizing Adobe Creative Suites.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Demonstrated experience with ad placement programs for Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Working knowledge of WordPress is highly desired.

Qualifications:

• Requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced/deadline-driven environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Requires excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities as needed.
• Requires the ability to relate well and communicate with the public and customer experience representatives.
• Must demonstrate initiative and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with creative writing experience a plus.
• Copy-editing ability for proofreading and grammatical corrections.
• Ability to work some weekends throughout the year.
• Requires some travel and a valid Oregon driver’s license.

The Sales and Marketing Assistant position is full-time, non-exempt with a wage range of $19.54- $29.31 per hour, depending on experience. In addition, our benefit package provides full-family, employer-paid health, dental and vision coverage, as well as a generous 401(k) program and paid time off.
