Pioneer Property Management Inc. is looking for an experienced Residential Maintenance Technician to operate at a 40-unit affordable housing community in Boone, IA. This project is currently under construction and is expected to open in April 2024. Apply today!
Job Summary
The maintenance technician will be responsible for completing general maintenance of the properties and individual units.
Reports To:
This role reports to the Property Manager.
Supervision:
This role has no supervisory duties.
Functions/Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance requests in a timely fashion
- Make ready apartments for leasing
- Landscaping maintenance including mulching, watering, weed control and litter pick up
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- General housekeeping of buildings
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
- On-call duties as needed
Competencies:
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Must have basic tools and reliable transportation
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Education:
-High school diploma or equivalent
