Description
The Distribution Coordinator is responsible for scheduling product to be delivered, transfer of product, and creating PO's for products to be transferred.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule daily work for the fleet throughout the state of Arizona or Colorado (depending on work state) as well as surrounding states.
- Communication by phone, email, text, and messenger with quarries, vendors, and customers (internal and external).
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- Must be detail oriented, organized, and have great multi-tasking skills
- Must work well under pressure
- Knowledge of construction materials and aggregate is a plus
- Basic math skills required
- Proficiency in computer skills and scheduling
- Must have previous dispatch experience
- Basic knowledge of computers, willingness to learn new systems
- Knowledge of surrounding geographical areas
- Must have excellent people skills, must be organized and willing to work weekends and overtime
- Must be able to manage delivery routes, times, and schedules
- Willingness to learn about company product
- Must have some understanding of DOT guidelines and willingness to learn more
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to perform simple math skills, basic reading, and have legible writing.
- 1-2 years working experience as dispatcher preferred
- NAV experience a plus

- Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, rotating Saturday schedule
