Solar Project Developer
$120,000 - $140,000 Bonus

Piper Maddox is a prominent developer, owner, operator, and financier of solar and solar storage projects. With a strong focus community solar programs, distributed generation, and small-scale utility projects in the US. With a robust pipeline exceeding 2 GW in various stages of development and over 200 MWs of completed projects.
They are now looking to add an Solar Project Developer to the team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate site control agreements with landowners, ensuring efficient project progression.
- Coordinate with third-party engineering firms for due diligence and project deliverables.
- Navigate the interconnection process with utilities, tracking milestones and managing timelines and costs.
- Secure land use permits and approvals from Local Government Units (LGUs) to facilitate project development.
- Prepare projects for construction commencement in coordination with US Solar’s construction team.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including landowners, utilities, and LGUs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor market factors, legislation, and regulations impacting project development.
- Prepare budget requests for internal project approvals.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Site Selection, Origination, Legal, Finance, Construction, and Asset Management.
