What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly- 2nd Shift position at Piper Products?
CFS Brands is seeking to hire 2nd shift Assemblers. This position must be mechanically inclined and have good manual dexterity; requires a high degree of mental and visual attention; and must be able to operate a variety of equipment. This position must be able to inspect, trim, repair, clean and pack out all products produced in Rotational Molding and must be capable of producing quality parts from trimming till the final pack out at standard and be able to comprehend and communicate instructions.
SHIFT: 2:45PM- 11:15PM
KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Assemble products as needed.
- Inspecting all incoming and outgoing parts and products and performing minor repair that need to be done for final pack out.
- Packing products including making boxes, labeling boxes, putting product in boxes, placing instruction sheets in boxes, taping boxes, and placing boxes on pallets.
- Making sure all literature, components, and additional items are included in the packaging.
- Responsible for reporting all quality issues to supervisor or team leader.
- Must be able to operate handheld tools.
- Ensuring that all facets of Carlisle Operating System (COS) are implemented and sustained in respective areas.
- Performs related duties as directed.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma required.
- 1-3 years in a manufacturing experience preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, work from drawings, specifications and formulas involving limited detail.
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and documents such as work orders, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
