The Marketing Analyst is responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing Marketing Data for various PIPESTONE business units and departments. As a marketing analysist, you will work closely with the Marketing Director to provide actionable insights to address key strategic questions.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee and execute reporting and insights on deliverables, timelines, and projects.
- Execute surveys with both internal and external audiences. Compile data and report to senior management team members for review.
- Play an integral role in building an improved process for reporting customer information. Design customer information reporting for multiple business units.
- Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing sustainability data for sustainability reports.
- Analyzes external and internal customer data using database queries, spreadsheets, web analytics tools, and campaign management software tools.
- Create data visualizations, dashboards, and PowerPoint presentations to provide insight to other departments.
- Ensure accuracy and confidence in data by regularly reviewing data quality.
- Document and oversee business rules, data standards, and quality requirements within CRM and across connected technologies.
- Report on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement.
- Track email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates).
- Work closely with marketing team to identify opportunities.
- Other responsibilities as needed.

Experience:
- MUST be a strong, self-started adept at independent problem-solving.
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Effective time management skills.
- Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills.
- MUST have strong Microsoft Excel skills to process data. Proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools, such as Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of business intelligence/data visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio and Power BI to build KPI dashboards and reports.
- Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis. Excellent analytical skills
- Proven ability in handling multiple projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
